safenet sentinel hasp serial
Searched but can't seem to find solution.
I have a program that is protected with safenet sentinel hasp.
Vendor gave me a time trial which allows all features of program.
I noticed it says expires in 2099? Did they make a mistake and give me the full working which doesn't actually expire. They said it would work for 10 days.
The serial number they gave me is 348 characters.
My question is since this is sentinel protected how do I start finding the information which is in this serial number?
hm why bother do 2099 when they can do an unlimited one?
put date 10 days ahead see if dongle working.,
just joking be careful not expire before test soft.
what is target name?
Seems the serial number it is a second layer of the protection.
And the expiration date inside in the number.
Yes it does seem that it's a secondary layer of protection.
The name of the program is opticstudio.
I can offer a link and the serial number which will not work because it's tied to the computer id. ~ 600mb d/l.
My original question still stands, maybe this is completely custom protection adding serial on top of hasp?
When I try to see license from hasp it just says nothing is found or running.
yes possible, because hasp dongle is not used correctly and developers not read manual or they fear crack and use a second serial.
