General Hardware Debugging

Hello,

Is there a general approach to reading disassembled code from any piece of hardware? I have no idea where I would start.

For example, would I have to code my own debugger/disassembler if I wanted to reverse engineer console code (or the actual game's code)?

Thanks in advance!

Michelle

It depends from the Hardware that you have, some hw could be efficiently disassembled by IDA (just check into IDA if your hardware is supported).

ELSE make a google search for more specific products.

Have a Nice Day
