dongle not needed, license manager gives you the id-numbr

Well, i already understood that licenses can be generated based upon hardware ID.
I just dont know yet how to generate those licenses.

You (wanze) said lsdecode106 could give us a private vendor string. (i'll try to figure it out) But then, how do i generate the license with that private vendor string?

yes,I made license based on hardware ID and my soft accept this license but software is not working.
my target uses s e n t i n e l R-M-S S-D-K 8.3

I am also looking for an emulator for Vxxx18 and Bfox is correct. It uses both sentinel and deskey. The "licence manager" is just a user interface, makes it easier for System Administrators to see what is licensed on that computer and for how long.
Item of Note: REVERSING the software by noping the code will not work. Visi writes the Dongle ID or part of the lic ID out with each file save. If you then open the file in a legit seat of Vxxx, it will corrupt/destroy the file.
You cannot just reverse it.

Vxxx has 4 types of licenses. One is Local hardware based-Mac and DiskID, 2nd is a Local Dongle ,3rd is Network-Dongle and Disk ID 4th is a Commuter requires Host name and Disk ID
-For each Option in Vxxx a license string is required. There are approx 56 "Options" available.
-I only have access to local dongle licence files and dongles.
-I ran the license string thru lsdecode106 and I get a bunch of information.
-So is it possible to create a utility, that takes the "Lock Code" shown in Vxxx License Manager and creates all license strings for all Options based on Mac Address and HDD ??? And if it is...could someone give me any pointers?

Reversing Code I can do.....new at this and am reading lots..but feeling dumb
