Default How detect, which toll was used for protection

Hi all,This is my first post.
Can any one tell me how i can detect, which toll was used for protection.I want to unpack a file, But i do not know which toll used file protection. It is a .exe file. thanks

Ah OK. In that case he needs to use something like PEiD or ExeInfoPE to tell hime what it was packed with.
