It's time for a project!

Well, RET needs a project to get the RE community involved. I say we completely reverse a commercial protection. Understand it from the inside out. I was looking at either Crypkey or eLicense since I've already done some work with both. Both of these protections are crappy, but it would be nice to know how they work as not much information is available on either (except a few tutorials for Crypkey and maybe one for eLicense). Who is interested? We can select a target (I know a few) and begin immediately :)

I have played with a few protector but not eLicnese or Crypkey... Since new CrypKey is just out, we should reverse it? I am in for this, though i am a bit busy so please pardon me for my possibly slow progress if i am busy...

Devine9 told me that aeiferos has already reversed the crypkey protection beyond anything remotely necessary :) Maybe we should go for eLicense? It's a packer-based software but it would be nice to make a universal unpacker or something similar..keygen maybe...what do you think? :)

I thought cryptkey was released uesterday only ??? personally i dont mind anything ... so go ahead and pick a target... then rock and roll ...

I do believe the NEW version was released yesterday...maybe that would be a good idea :) I'll take a look at both options...who wants to help? :)

Hee... actually it doesnt matter.. we can do both ... one after another ... it is the practise for newbies like me ... that is if you guys bother help out here and there ....
