How would they know if they couldn't read it?. If it had an accident with two 9V batteries and two pieces of wire, how would they know?. Especially if they could not read it because the 9 volt batteries joined in series to make 18V and then the two pieces of wire fell between the 18V and the two outer conductors of the dongle.

However - be warned - some software manufacturers consider the dongle to be most of the value of the product, if not all of it. For example, there is a well known Optical CAD software which costs 4000 usd. The software is free but the dongle costs 4000 usd. They warn you to insure the dongle as if it is lost or damaged they will only replace it at full cost. So check the dongle replacement cost first.

Just contact software producer and claim dongle stop works and you not know why.
Most company replace dongle at dongle cost (~30-100 USD) if you return physical piece dongle. (Like Git said there is some that want full re-payment and communication with these is bad, but these is few on market).
Return-replace is processed by sales department (with hope is big company product) and no one check counters, dongle, bla, bla.
90% you have chance to get replacement without questions and problems only with some RMA tax + shipping taxes.

hi all
i try to check multikey with uproeval.exe.create a reg file with some devid(any) and then test SFNTsntlGetLicense api with uproeval.exe and all responses i got were 3 means no key is atached

it means multi key can not emulate ultrapro or what ??any idea ???
