Default how to unpack .bin firmware file

Hi,

how can I unpack / disassemble a .bin firmware file made for a Motorola Coldfire CPU. Do I have any chance to get the source code of the firmware?

Is there any emulator for Windows available to be able to test such an binary firmware file?

a lot of greetings!

You should be able to load into a debugger the code and simulate it.
Then you can see/extract assembly source code.

(Most of the debugger/burner programs should also have a simulator to use)

I did it with motorola 68hc12 series with Noice. Also check metrowerks tools.
