![]() Well its been quite a few months now since we posted RE-Search.. I always thought it would be quite popular, as users can add their own essays to the site, to increase their readability and speed up the spread of their works across the net.. It also brings things much more central to one spot on the net.. In time it was planned to be a good wealth of knowledge.
Unfortunately we aren't getting many submissions from the public here.. aside from 1 submission recently about a particular xbox essay.. we haven't had any submissions since just after it was first introduced.. I am now wondering, now that kw has brought it up, whether this is in part because of the lack of description on the Essays section.. people are confused and think that the essays shown when you click essays, are really just the essays in RE-Search.. I had thought poeple would be a bit more receptive and perhaps click on the link ![]() Any suggestions.. Devine Right [RET] Also.. as a side note.. we've now recently setup http://re-search.has.it for you all to link to it directly.. enjoy. |

![]() Heh, still problematic, this
![]() As d9 knows as well, people still think the search engine is there to search essays by RET members, instead of anyone's on the web.. I still feel we should make it a seperate page, for just the searching. Let it have an editbox, a search button, and an [add my essays] link for example. Would certainly clear up the purpose... The reason for the confusion seem to be the integration with the rest of the RET site, which I understand, it looks to me like its just part of the site as well. -kw
