i also have a software for which i got a 10 days trial license when i emailed to developer of software key number which was there on software.can this license be extended to permanent license.

i have a sw for which i got trial license FILE for 10 days from the developer of sw when i sent him the key number of the sw.
now the trial is over how to extent this now to permanent license.

I was reading this forum , I found more information to understand who is the structure of my sentinel lic.. , also I found some link and now I have some program to try to make my own sentien lic.., but still I have some problems and more questions , don’t kwon what is wrong?

- I was try to install SLM _ 8.0.6.0 , but the installation ask for a serial code , and I don’t have it.


- When I try to run wlscgen.exe Ver: 8.2.1.500 , it shows me a windows with this:
“ Error (VLS0040): Unknow exception (4919840) in accessing Sentinel RMS development Kit license meter(s).”



- When I run lsdecode.exe + my lic. file It show this information:

I found this link , but doesn’t work : http://rapidshare.com/files/40874280...etwork_lic.rar , so in other place of this forum I found this file to emule: “emul for wlscgen 8.2.rar” , and now I have a new device in my system called “Virtual USB Multikey” , whe I try to run wlscgen.exe Ver: 8.2.1.500 , I have the same message: “ Error (VLS0040): Unknow exception (4919840) in accessing Sentinel RMS development Kit license meter(s).” , maybe I forgot some step?

I found “wlscgen2A0A” and run very well , but his Vendor ID is” 2A0A” , I have a temp lic. and it has this VID “18049” , I have some questions?
1- How convert this numers 18049 to hex , like 2A0A
2- Is necessary to disassembled the exe file and set this new VID?
3- Ollydbg is good to do that?
4- I found this :”For wlscgen8.2.1, only offstets of 0x00148beeh and 0x00148befh need to be changed “ , this is the places for VID?

I have concerns if your first question is about converting to hex.

18049 = 4681 hex
